Why? I started sharing my artwork on flickr.com originally, then met Lottie over at The Tea Drinking English Rose (http://theteadrinkingenglishrose.blogspot.com/ ), and she convinced me to get a blog. I started {Sprinkle} Tiaras Atop Our Pastel Hair;; with hopes of gaining traffic at my etsy shop, but it turned into much more. Its been amazing to meet these fantastic new friends and bloggers, and I've been able to carve out my own little corner of the blogosphere.

Who are you and what do you do? For how long time? I write a blog under my pen name, Sprinkle, and basically share my artistic adventures and little observations here and there. I've been blogging and keeping up my etsy shop since last October, and its been really fantastic so far. I've sold a few items here and there, but mostly its more about finding strong connections with girls around the globe who share my interests & getting a positive response to my artwork. :)

What did you do 10 years ago on this day? I was in a preschool classroom cutting out butterflies and snowflakes, covering things in glitter, and playing in the sandbox with my glittery Wizard-of-Oz esque shoes... Just a guess, of course, I can't really remember. :)
What do you think about global whining? Hmm, well, I'm not exactly sure its whining. As far as Global Warming, I'm not exactly convinced we're all going to die, doom and gloom, etc., but I do think its a huge issue and we should all make efforts to undo the harm & destruction we've caused. And having to do with other issues, socially and politically, I think we all have a lot of work to do. Whining? No way. But action? Yes!
What do you like? Wow, such a broad topic! I love... Adorable, indie love stories, when people are open to hearing the other side of any story, being able to travel without restrictions, (I wish!), big cities, twinkling stars, cheesy commercials, people who smile, cupcakes, art, etc... :)
Pants or a skirt? This one is difficult... I love the aesthetics of flowing dresses and floral skirts, with nice feminine touches on everything, but I'm more comfortable and happy in pants. Yeah, I'd have to go with pants, but just accessorize with girly shirts and grandfather cardigans, with the always-necessary pearls.
Tell us about your creative process. Haha, I really wish that I had one. That may be something worth considering... Basically when I'm not doing schoolwork, I cut out pictures that I find inspiring from various magazines and try and sketch out a few ideas of things of things to create. Usually I make collages, journal, or paint and sew on clothing. I hope to have more time this summer for art. Oh, and the music of The Beach Boys, Abba, and The Ditty Bops is usually essential to my creative glow...
Where do you find your ideas and inspiration? My best friend Chiclet is my biggest muse; She always has amazing ideas. We've spent our highschool years so far passing back and forth beautiful, purple "Inspiration Journal." We fill it with gorgeous magazine editorials, glitter, feathers, letters to each other, old photobooth strips... Everything. So that's always a big inspiration to me. I also find great ideas from the blog world. Some of my favorites are Gala Darling, Emily Martin, and Lottie from The Tea Drinking English Rose. But I have so many precious bloggers in my heart that I don't even have room to mention! :)
What is your advice to a seller, shop keeper or blogger? Make connections with everyone. Don't be afraid to reach out to someone you idolize within the blogworld... You'll find that most are often more modest than you think, and they may be willing to have a conversation with you, offer you up some advice. Hey, you may even get a new friend.
Quote to live by? "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procrastinate now, don't put it off." -Ellen DeGeneres
Your idol(s)? Oh, I have so many! Are you ready for this? Andy Warhol, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ellen DeGeneres, (I'm a sucker for comediennes!), Gala Darling, Betsey Johnson, Nara Yoshitomo, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson... Wow. And there's so many more that I can't even think of. And of course, my best friends and my family.
What is "in" at the moment? Being nice and happy. Go for it.
Would you like to add something? The world needs your creativity. Don't forget to share your spectacular opinions and leave fairydust and butterfly kisses wherever you go. xoxo.
